Thank you for visiting my page! I’ve created this blog to journal my journey up to Yoga Teacher Training and connect with like-minded people.
I’ve been practising Yoga since 2013, though its been very much on and off. I’d say I’ve been practising regularly for about 2 years. I was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne before moving to London (where I stumbled upon Yoga) in 2013. I now live in Leeds, with my lovely & endlessly supportive boyfriend Sam.
I’ve booked my YTT for September 2019 and I. CANT. WAIT! Although I’m aware I have a LOT of work to do before then… I’ve got a compulsory reading list which I’m working through, a non-compulsory reading list which I hope to read too. I’m also dreadfully unfit (I can handle an hours vinyasa class, but running? spin class? HIIT? sometimes even fast walking? A full time YTT?!), I don’t have a yoga body and of course I want to be as advanced in my practice as I can possibly be, in order to be fully prepared which means practice, practice and more practice.
Its daunting, and honestly I’m nervous I’ll be left behind on the course, I’m trying to make the most of these next 6 months before the course starts, to whip myself in shape to make sure that doesn’t happen. As someone who cant resist a greasy burger or a glass of wine (gin, beer) or two (three, four or five), I’m hoping a weekly blog will keep my mind focussed on my goals and being the best version of myself… Wish me look & follow my page to join me on my journey.
