Sh*t is about to get real

I booked my YTT in November 2018, to start in September 2019. This option worked for me largely because it gave me time to save but also because I was full of doubt ‘am I good enough?’ ‘will I manage?’. The 10 months between booking and beginning my training were supposed to be wholly dedicated to becoming as good as I could possibly be at Yoga. In January I signed up to Cat Meffan’s Yoganuary so I practiced every day (mostly) from home and visited the studio about once a week for a class. Since then (writing on the 19th February) I’ve practiced maybe… once. Before I booked my training I was practicing about 3 times a week. So why can’t I get my ass into gear now?!

I work full time and admittedly things have been hectic at work, but that’s just an excuse.

So here is my commitment: from now on, I will practice three times a week at the studio and at least once a week from home.

I’ll make a note on here each week of the number of times I rolled out my mat… Bridget Jones style!

I had also intended to supplement yoga with fitness classes in the run up to YTT as I often struggle with my level of fitness. This year I’ve been to 1 fitness class. So again, my commitment:

I will attend at least one fitness class (outside yoga) each week.

Hopefully by writing this for the world to see, I’ll get my ass into motion… Let’s do this 💪🏻
